Frequently asked questions

How do I use the program finder?

Find the heading that matches your type of organization and read the program pages listed under it. Most program pages explain the program, who it is for, what to have ready and how IHS helps.

Does the list tell me which accreditation I need?

No. It groups programs by the type of organization each page is written for. Which program fits depends on your services, your payers and your state, and the free introductory call is where we work through that with you.

Why is my program not listed?

The finder lists program pages on this site. If your program is not here, the accreditation consulting page lists more of what IHS covers, and the free introductory call can confirm whether a program is in scope.

Does IHS apply for accreditation for me?

No. IHS prepares your policies, evidence and staff for review. Your organization applies to the accreditor and submits its own documents.
