Federal items in the IHS change log, by the numbers: October 3, 2026 to October 9, 2026

IHS's change log recorded 16 federal items in 7 days: all 16 from CMS. Each links to its source page, opened October 10, 2026.

From October 3, 2026 to October 9, 2026, the IHS change log recorded 16 federal items that map to an IHS service line: all 16 from CMS. Every item below links to its source page, either an agency page or the Federal Register issue on govinfo.gov, and we opened each of those pages on October 10, 2026.

How the count was made

The change log is IHS's record of federal rules, notices, transmittals, survey memos, press releases and agency newsletter items, read from the agencies' sites and the Federal Register issues on govinfo.gov. Its automated daily run began on October 3, 2026. The log keeps only items that map to an IHS service line, so it holds a subset of what the agencies published. An item is counted once, on the date shown on the agency's page or Federal Register issue. A single newsletter issue can carry several items, so the 16 items come from 12 distinct pages. A Federal Register document issued jointly by more than one agency is counted once, under the agency the log assigns, and the item list names every issuing agency. Topic tags are IHS's, and one item can carry more than one tag, so the topic counts add up to more than 16.

What this is not

This is a count of the items in the IHS change log, not of everything the agencies published, and not a judgment of what any item requires of a given organization. Read the agency's page for the text that applies. For the running list, see the IHS standards-change page at https://www.integralhs.com/insights/changes.
