ACPE PharmD Accreditation Fees: The Full 2026 Schedule

ACPE publishes a fee schedule for colleges and schools of pharmacy, and this page walks through all 13 lines of it for PharmD programs: what each line is for, which ones recur, and what the schedule leaves unsaid. The figures come from ACPE's own 2026 document (ACPE, 2026 Fees, page opened October 3, 2026), and ACPE's 2027 document shows the same figures on every line (ACPE, 2027 Fees, page opened October 3, 2026).

Last reviewed: October 2026.

What ACPE publishes and where

ACPE keeps one fee document per calendar year for colleges and schools of pharmacy. Both the 2026 and 2027 documents sit in a Financial group on ACPE's PharmD Resources and Tools page (ACPE, PharmD Resources and Tools, page opened October 3, 2026). The document prints bare numbers, which the table reads as US dollars (our reading of the format).

A short policy note sits above the table. It ties the evaluation fees to ACPE's accreditation work and to its travel costs, and it adds a yearly sustaining fee on top. It also reserves ACPE's right to change amounts, and it leaves the timing of a change to its Board.

How the fee structure works

New schools run on a shorter clock. Early on, the schedule says, ACPE returns about every two years, and each visit is billed at the prevailing on-site fee for whichever evaluation type took place. The schedule does not say whether that is the New School Onsite Visit Fee or another row.

What the schedule does not include

Reading the schedule

These sums use the published 2026 figures. They are not quotes of any bill and not estimates of what your school will pay. Verify current fees with ACPE.

Where this fits

This page covers the fee schedule only. The parent page, ACPE PharmD program accreditation consulting, covers the standards, application calendar, status levels and how IHS helps a school prepare.

What this is not

Frequently asked questions

Where does ACPE publish its fees for a college or school of pharmacy?

ACPE posts a calendar-year fee document for colleges and schools of pharmacy and lists the 2026 and 2027 documents on its PharmD Resources and Tools page. Verify current fees with ACPE.

Is the 2027 schedule different from 2026?

On the pages opened October 3, 2026, every one of the 13 lines in the 2027 document carries the same figure as the 2026 document. Only the year label differs. ACPE reserves the right to change fees, with its Board setting when a change takes effect, so check again before you budget.

Does the on-site visit fee cover travel for the ACPE team?

ACPE's schedule says team travel, airfare and hotels among it, is built into the fee for a full on-site evaluation. It says this about the full evaluation only, and the schedule does not state how travel is handled for the other visit types. Ask ACPE before assuming travel is included for a focused or satellite visit.

What is the annual sustaining fee and does a school pay it every year?

The schedule lists an Annual Sustaining Fee of $9,330 and labels it with a July 1 to June 30 period. Its policy note says an annual sustaining fee is charged on top of the evaluation fees. ACPE's schedule does not spell out the billing mechanics beyond that label, so ask ACPE how the fee is invoiced for a school in its first years. A separate Satellite/Multiple Pathway Sustaining Fee of $1,530 is also listed.

What would a new school's published ACPE fees add up to?

Adding only the New School Application Fee and one New School Onsite Visit Fee gives $76,800 on the published 2026 figures. That is arithmetic on the schedule, not a bill estimate, and it leaves out the sustaining fee and any further visits. The schedule says new schools are visited about every two years while they are forming.

What does an existing program pay across an eight-year cycle?

One Comprehensive Onsite Visit at $29,800 plus eight Annual Sustaining Fees at $9,330 each comes to $104,440, or $13,055 per year averaged. That is arithmetic on the published 2026 figures for a program with no satellites, no focused visit and no consultation. Your own total depends on which rows ACPE applies to your program.

Who decides which fee row applies to my program?

The schedule names the visit types and their fees but does not say who classifies a program or visit. ACPE sets and adjusts the fees, so ask ACPE which rows apply to your school and when each would be invoiced.

Does IHS set or collect ACPE fees?

No. ACPE sets its own fees, and IHS does not set or collect them. IHS scopes each engagement after a free introductory call.
