URAC Core 10 -- v. 2.1 revision

The v. 2.1 change to Core 10 is pretty technical, and limited to subsection (a), which read (in v. 2.0):

The organization designates at least one senior clinical staff person who has: (Primary)

(a) Current, unrestricted clinical license(s) (or if the license is restricted, the organization has a process to ensure job functions do not violate the restrictions imposed by the State Board) (Primary)

The new, v. 2.1 version of the standard reads as follows:

The organization designates at least one senior clinical staff person who has: (Primary)

(a) Current, unrestricted clinical license(s) (or if the license is restricted, the organization has a process to ensure job functions do not violate the restrictions imposed by the State licensure board) (Primary)

I’m guessing there was some lack of clarity about what board was implicated by the standard in those states where the licensure board is not commonly referred to as the State Board.
