Mail Service Pharmacy Accreditation, Version 1.0

The following are best practices and tips regarding URAC's Mail Service Pharmacy Accreditation, Version 1.0.  This is a brand new accreditation program, so we have very little history of URAC interpretations to go on.  However, as you'll see, many of these standards closely resemble standards in the PBM and DTM programs, with which we have longer experience.  Furthermore, others of these standards closely resemble standards from other, non-pharmacy programs.  We'll be drawing upon our 10 years of experience in all these programs, as well as tidbits we glean from ongoing accreditations, to provide you the advice you'll find here.
