Dr. Jeffrey Soulen has been in the private practice of psychiatry since 1994. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and as courtesy staff to Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital. He also has served as staff psychiatrist at Key Point Community Mental Health Center and as a Clinical Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
When in South Bend, Indiana, Dr. Soulen worked first as staff pediatrician, then as medical director, of the Indiana Health Centers, Inc. He also served as staff pediatrician at Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, and Michiana Community Hospital.
Dr. Soulen is board certified in Psychiatry and Pediatrics. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science from Yale, graduating with distinction in molecular biophysics and biochemistry.
Dr. Soulen has published and spoken on such subjects as integral approaches to the practice of medicine, physician decision making and utilization review, and pediatric emergency care.
